At the age of thirty-two, K.Suchendra Prasad  is a name to be reckoned with among young achievers in BANGALORE. Soon after his university studies (MA, LLB) he took the plunge into the world of Theatre. His association has been with bigwigs like B.V.Karanth, D.R.Ankur and several others of national and international repute. His first formal job was with the Regional Resource Centre of National School of Drama, Delhi. (1994-1997) “SUCHI” has come a long way since his stint in theatre, working for major Play productions staged across the country, including the Andaman Islands.

Suchi has directed, choreographed, composed music for films, television and radio and written plays, all in the span of ten years. He has also been an indispensable part of the FORD FOUNDATION network. He has been trained in innumerable workshops conducted at various places. One of the many memorable experiences was with the Nomadic Theatre Group called FOOTSBARN of FRANCE.

He has taught, run a platform, directed for the stage, for television, made numerous documentaries, promotional films for corporate houses like TVS, conceptualised and written film scripts, television series, talk shows, founded an NGO, co-ordinated stage shows, and conducted theatre festivals. He has also established himself as an accomplished actor.

To quench the creative thirst, Suchi has worked across the board crossing over media boundaries.  He is a complete media person.

So far, he has carved a niche for himself through dedicated production of meaningful work, which has won accolades and rave reviews.

Suchi has about 2000 episodes to his credit, in which he played the lead in several Mega serials that have been aired on Doordarshan, national network and other regional channels.

Kanooru Heggadithi, a film by GIRISH KARNAD received the National Award, wherein he plays the protagonist.

The enterprises that have benefited from Suchi’s expertise of filmmaking techniques include TVS, ASCENT, ICHAP, KOLADA MUTT and SDM TRUST.

Being well versed in the English, Hindi and Kannada languages, he has been conducting TALK SHOWS, QUIZ PROGRAMMES, and INTERVIEW BASED FILMS.

Based and operating from Bangalore, Suchi looks forward to working with likeminded people/organisations on projects that are challenging. He intends to share ideas and concepts in the best interest of the final outcome of a media solution.

He believes that the VISUAL MEDIA is the effective medium for effective communication.
